Success Stories
We measure our success by changes in our communities.
1. The BiPolar Rock-n-Roller plays on.
In 2015, shortly after finalizing the Shamrock Way into a non profit entity, our executive board convened to discuss programs and actions that fulfill the mission and vision of Bob Shamrock.
Our board members include producers, directors and creative artists that are experts in media creation and new technologies. As we searched for a way to use these unique skill sets to support our mission one of our members shared something very personal. He was suffering from a mental illness, bipolar disorder, and began to share the facts surrounding mental health awareness.
When we realized that 1 in 5 people will suffer a mental illness in their lifetime and the idea of mental health care was misunderstood, and worse, that mental illness was stigmatized in many cultures, our team went to work.
After much research the problem became very clear, to protect as many people as possible - the stigma surrounding mental health had to be addressed.
We decided to create a feature film about the life and struggles of our board member, Mauro Ranallo, who has spent over 30 years dealing with this debilitating disease.
For the next three years our team followed and recorded some of the highest and lowest points of his career as a celebrity voice artist and sports broadcaster - which also happened to include some of the biggest moments in combat sports history.
The result is a powerful film that captures a true portrait of mental health and how to care for those who are struggling. During the films research we partnered with the largest mental health community in the US, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and Fountain House of New York which is a global leader in community care for the severely mentally ill.
Their help and guidance facilitated a partnership with Showtime Networks who finished the film and released it on their premium networks. The response was overwhelming and became a national media story so much so that Showtime released the film on Youtube (watch it) so anyone, anywhere could see the film and get help.
We are immensely proud of all our partners, especiallyvShowtime Networks and forever grateful to NAMI, Fountain House and most importantly, Mauro Ranallo, for his courage to share something so personal and powerful to help others.

2. Warriors Challenge - Mexico.
Many of our volunteers are hands-on type of people, they enjoy the feeling of being inside the community and directly interacting with the children and families that we support.
During our first years of operations it was mainly our executive board that would travel to our community events, dedicating programs and dispersing much needed funds and social programs.
In 2018, we decided to create an annual event that would allow everyone to get hands-on in the communities that we supported.
After putting the idea to a vote and the group decided we should support homelessness.
This is how the Warriors Challenge began to take shape.
Now an annual event, our first weekend, was in 2018 in Rosarito Mexico where we built a home for a family living in poverty. Through our partnership with Hope Sports our team constructed a home in two days working from sunrise to sunset to achieve the goal and at the end of the second day, we gifted that home to the Lopez family.
It was during that gifting ceremony, where each member shares their own personal exerience during the build, that we realized the power of this event.
After seeing the impact to family and the delight on the childrens’ faces to have a home and a bed for the first time, we vowed to do this every year
3. Fountain of Life Africa 2019 Fundraiser.
We consider it an honor when approached by other charities to help raise funds or awareness for a needed social cause.
In 2019 our team was asked to create a presentation for Fountain of Life Africa at their annual fundraiser. After researching the mission and results - our team jumped at the chance to support their efforts.
We created a unique presentation titled the Power of ONE and our executive director, Frank Shamrock personally presented.
The results were extraordinary and we reached the fundraising goal as well as inspired a community into actions.
